Good Design Equals More Links and Better SEO
As we all know, links coming into your website (backlinks) are not only a great way to gain additional traffic, but they are also very beneficial for Search Engine Optimisation - Gaining a more reputable website in search engines such as Google.
But how can a new, well designed website gain more links than an outdated one? By promotion through the design community. Web designers and developers are always looking for new, up to date design inspiration to assist them in their work and website showcases (more commonly referred to as CSS Galleries) help them to do so.Whenever we create a new, tip-top design, part of our Search Engine Optimisation strategy is to promote the site to as many CSS Galleries as we can find. The most immediate result is increased traffic (the majority of which is from the design community), but the primary long-term result is having a permanent one-way link from the gallery back to the website. When search engines see an increase in links, they are much more likely to increase a website's position in search results.
Due to this, all of our websites are built with great design and user interaction in mind. Not only so that it looks good for users, but so it can perform to its full potential in search engines after it has gone live.
