Why Permission Marketing Is the Future of Online Advertising

Tourism Queensland promotion blitz steps up its game.
You have to admit that Queensland has seen its fair share of disasters over the past few months.
So when you're wet, homeless and your business still has empty shelves, what do you do?
You initiate a $12 million joint state and federal tourism recovery funding package.
The three month "Nothing Beats Queensland" campaign domestic marketing blitz is already underway and was designed to attract tourists for the super long Easter-Anzac weekend as well as to try and continue to drive traffic into winter.
A series of 6 new video ads have been targetted all over the media in a blast to tell Australia and the world that we are still open for business.
It seems to be a common trend for Queenslanders to bounce back. And you ask any one of them and they'll be proud to tell you so.
How to I get involved?
The government is definitely doing their job and providing you with a massive customer base on a silver platter. And since Kevin07 they've gotten pretty savvy at internet marketing.
So why not get a piece of the action?
You already know the campaign slogan. So create a package, special promotion or even just write a story about "Nothing Beats Queensland". You can guarantee they're going to be highly searched for keywords.
Get a video on YouTube, create a partnership with a local supplier, send an email campaign, post your news on a tweet trend.
Remember that you are competing for our Aussie dollar and, at the moment, we are all pretty tempted to throw it around everywhere else but Australia.
And if you aren't going to start a conversation, then what are people going to talk to you about?
